Since 2018, Zak MacRunnels has served as the General Manager of Reconstruct, Inc. – a Bluebeam venture-backed portfolio company. He is responsible for customers’ successful utilization of their AI & machine-learning-powered Visual Reality Digital Twin software-as-a-service. The Company currently operates at thousands of sites on six continents, including hospitals such as Dignity Health, Alta Bates Summit, Kaiser Permanente, USC Keck & Radiation, University of Iowa, and Sisters of St. Mary (SSM).

Prior to Reconstruct, Mr. MacRunnels served as COO of Buildup – a crowd-sourced mobile issue-management system used by general contractors. During his previous tenure in Asia, he mastered the Six Sigma Process and operational excellence while serving on Samsung’s Global Strategist Team. He also has over a decade of management consulting experience with LEK, SyncDev, and Accelerev.

MacRunnels hails from the San Francisco Bay Area and has an MBA from Stanford and an AB from Harvard.
