Bob Mitsch has served as Vice President, Facility & Property Services for Sutter Health since October of 2000. As Sutter Health’s senior real estate, construction, and facilities executive, Bob is responsible for leading capital project planning and management as well as the acquisition, disposition, and management of real estate assets. Bob is also responsible for facilities management and protective services across the organization. During Bob’s tenure at Sutter Health, the Facility & Property Services group has received national accolades for their innovation and excellence including Engineering News-Record’s Owner of the Year Award and Lean Construction Institute’s Pioneer Award. Employed by Sutter Health since 1992, Bob also served 6 years as Sutter Health’s Real Estate Director. Prior to joining Sutter Health, Bob worked in private development in Sacramento and as a corporate real estate manager in Southern California.
Bob is a graduate of San Diego State University and holds the Institute Designation of Master of Corporate Real Estate (MCR). Bob is a board member with the Sacramento chapter of the Positive Coaching Alliance and participates nationally on industry boards including the Academy of Healthcare Infrastructure Research. Bob resides in Sacramento and is married (Toni Ann) with two children.
