Patrick M. Casey is the Executive Director – Planning, Design and Construction at University of Mississippi Medical Center in Jackson, Mississippi. At UMMC, Mr. Casey is responsible for capital planning, real estate, space management, design and construction of UMMC facilities statewide. Prior to joining UMMC, Patrick was the Regional Program Manager for The University of Texas System Office of Facilities Planning and Construction overseeing the $1.7-billion Capital Improvement Program at The University of Texas Medical Branch in Galveston, Texas. Patrick is no stranger to large healthcare projects as he was on the core management team that oversaw the design and construction of $1.3-billion New Parkland Campus in Dallas, Texas. A native of Ohio, Patrick has also worked as an Owner’s Representative at University Hospitals/Case Medical Center and the Cleveland Clinic, both in Northeastern Ohio. Prior to transitioning to working as an owner, Patrick was an award-winning design architect. He has successfully led multiple project teams and owners through the planning, design and construction of over $5-billion in capital projects throughout the United States and Internationally.
