Mike Chihoski

With over 30 years of experience in the facilities, design, construction, and real estate industry, Mike has served in executive leadership roles at three different health systems.  Mike also has worked in real estate development on a global level with a focus on healthcare and has worked with hospitals and health systems in more than 30 countries worldwide.   Mike also previously served as Chief Operating Officer for Emaar, the Economic City where he led the planning and development of King Abdullah Economic City in Saudi Arabia, which at the time was the largest private development in the world valued at more than $100B.

In his current role at UCHealth Mike oversees the Planning, Design, and Construction, Facilities Operations, Real Estate and Property Management, and Environmental, Health and Safety Divisions at UCHealth’s 15 hospitals and more than 300 ambulatory care locations across the state of Colorado. Mike is a Certified Healthcare Facility Manger (CHFM), Certified Healthcare Safety Professional (CHSP) and has been awarded Senior designation by the American Society of Healthcare Engineering (SASHE). Mike has earned a BS and MS from Northern Illinois University College of Engineering and Engineering Technology and has completed the AMDP in Real Estate from Harvard University Graduate School of Design.
