Nelson Ferreira is the Executive Director of the Medical Office Program Delivery (MOPD) Center of Excellence (COE), with National Facilities Design and Construction at Kaiser Permanente. Nelson Ferreira is responsible for management and construction execution of all Ambulatory buildings across the Kaiser Permanente Enterprise ($5+ Billion Cap Plan). This includes all new Primary and Specialty Care Medical Office Buildings (MOBs), including Ambulatory Surgery Centers, HUBs and Radiation Oncology buildings.

Nelson joined Kaiser Permanente with a well-rounded construction background, including years of experience as a subcontractor, as an owner/developer, and as a preferred provider program (PPP) general contractor that worked to complete Phase 1 of the Kaiser Los Angeles Medical Center.  Nelson moved to southern California in 2006 from Toronto, Canada, and joined Kaiser Permanente in 2010 as a Project Engineer.

Nelson holds a Bachelor of Applied Science in Electrical Engineering Degree from the University of Waterloo, Waterloo, Ontario Canada.
