Cynthia Zelis, MD, MBA, is Vice President of Ambulatory Operations and Telehealth Services at University Hospitals Cleveland where she is responsible for the strategic design and collaborative oversight of the UH Ambulatory Network with $585 M Annual Net Revenue from nearly 50 ambulatory sites. The UH Ambulatory Network spans 16 counties and nearly 50 Ambulatory Health Centers with $38.4m in real estate assets encompassing 2.0m square feet of space as well as property management of approximately 43 rental leases.. Additionally, Dr. Zelis serves as the operational leader for the system-wide point of service ambulatory scheduling initiative implementing culture and process change, development of an innovative scheduling mobile platform, and communication across the UH family of providers including 1,800+ employed physicians. A practicing family physician, Dr. Zelis serves as an Adjunct Professor at Baldwin Wallace University as part of their Health Care MBA Program. Additionally, Dr. Zelis serves her NE Ohio community through board appointments and philanthropic leadership.
